Your blogs view counts could be taking a hit

As many of you know Faeit 212 is down.  If my work computer didn't block his site several months ago I would be rocking myself with pacifying behaviour in the corner with a string of saliva acting as the bridge from my mouth to the floor.  However, since they have I'm not nearly as affected as I would've been.

JJ typing [proof reading and grammar unlocked], if your view count is high on your list of things to check for your blog you might notice a decrease until this is settled.

I'm sure you've read it.  If you haven't enjoy =) or 8,,(

While I find this more than upsetting that something posted months ago, Oct, is affecting Natfka's blog.  I'm frankly surprised GW is this behind the ball.  I'm sure Faeit will be back shortly.  If not I'm sure he's flipping a sh*t and either a) burning all his models to stay warm at Vahalla or b) throwing them up on ebay to buy more Dark Ages models.  Either way I can only imagine what he's going through right now.  I've said this many times and will state it many more times.  Natfka is my source of inspiration for blogging.  Regardless of what happens I'm sure he will remain the paragon of online behaviour he has always portrayed and lead by example for all of us to be.

This may be a time to rally behind those shoulders which we stood on to see farther than other blogs.  Feel free to email him natfka at live dot com.  Just sent him an email asking if there's something I can do to help get his blog live again.  This is my doing.  He has not contacted me at all requesting for assistance.  Doing that whole payback thingy.

  1. Where's the line between sharing your enjoyment of the hobby and copyright?

I enjoy writing 40k fiction, does that mean I shouldn't post it because while the people and planets are my creation, it's based in somebody elses universe?

Sometimes I really really hate Games Workshop! They have excellent miniatures, excellent fluff (most of the time) but their treatment of their own fans really sucks!

    1. Tom, I share your frustration.

In a small way I understand GW being upset that pics are being released before they are supposed to be. I wouldn't be upset about them being posted on blogs I'd be furious about how they got online. There has to be some sort of way to track them electronically to figure out how they are getting online. Then sanctioning them. Example when there were leaks of the Necron Codex in German it should be easy to locate whom received German codexes.

I'm beginning to feel the seed of hate for GW growing within me. That makes me a little sad.

    1. As you may have heard he's working on Wordpress and Youtube presently. He should be back up by the end of week. My prediction. Don't have any insider info. I've offered to put the link for his youtube on this blog. No word yet.

Please let me know if you have more info.

  3. Above info is not complete. As many of you know. Looks like there have been four DCMAs from GW to google blogger regarding copies of white dwarf being online before they were released.

Please see link for more info from Dakka.
