Codex warp

Anyone else experiencing this?  Suggestions for how to prevent, or reverse, the warping?

25th April.  The bottom cover is beginning to bow.  Can see it warp more.  There are separations between the pages.  Don't believe humidity was a factor.  Quite strange.

  1. I have noted a lot of similar complaints with regards to the new hard back codices released by GW.

The advice on the following page seems sound. Perhaps a straight return would be best, though.

    1. Thanks for the link, Gonewild. Wonder if by contacting GW directly would be best.

  3. I'll have to look at mine tonight, although they usually sit in a stack or in my bag. I can't say I've really noticed it.

My Tau has the front a little bowed but the back is still flat and nice. It has been sitting in my bag so kind of pushed flat most of the time.

    1. Could perhaps use all the other codexes in my bag to press the new ones down. Seems like a waste considering they will just warp again.

  4. Seems to be a trait of the new hard covers.you could try keeping the codex under your mattress...

    1. Hope GW figures this out. Love that sense of humour, Spellduckwrong.

  5. I have read many posts about this happening, I always keep my codex-es stacked together in my book case to help prevent them from warping. Seems to be working so far.

    1. Think I'll do that tonight. Throw all the codexes from my bag into a pile and see if smoothes them out. Worst thing that can happen is me stubbing my little toe and teaching myself new swear words.
