Spiritseer part 1

A new month and a new model.  Great way to start Dec.  "A new model?"  You may ask.  Tired of seeing Wraithguard?  Enjoy the beginning of an excellent Spiritseer, if I don't mind saying so myself.

JJ painting, this is a work in progress. This an Eldar Spiritseer Warhammer 40k commission for Toni.

I'm absolutely amazed how much I was able to complete on this model in such a short amount of time.  Spent about 4 hours on this bad boy.  Give me another 3 hours and he'd be done.  After talking with Andrew and Nate at Renegade Open GT my painting technique has taken several huge steps.  It is astounding how one phrase can impact a painter.  That is for another post in the near future.  Won't leave you hanging.

To provide some context.  Some may remember my 5 hr Dante Challenge several months ago.  It was a sub-par paint job, three colour, and I failed.  Spent about 4 hrs last Fri night, gaming group was called off because of turkey day, and frankly I feel I knocked this model out of the park.  There is more work to be done on him.  Soften, fuzzy, the stars and apply appropriate highlights on the wraithbone.  Ultimately there really isn't much left to do with this guy unless Toni has something else in mind.  Pics below for reference.
