Ebay Tyranids Hive Crone part 1

First time working on a Tyranid model since second edition.  Have a Trygon/Mawloc in the box.  Really love the look of that model.

This has to be the most frustrating piece of this model to assemble.

There are four parts.  Two for the tail and two for the joint that connects to the body.

If you follow the instructions you'll experience why.  It tells you to glue the tail together than joint to body.  The joint to body sits just inside the tail.  This is wrong.  Actually tail wraps around it.  Really tail should be assembled around joint to body.

This was a fun little piece.  The tongue sits inside the throat and locks in securely.

Considered using the Harpy tail piece.

The weapon sacs are one mold.  Would like to see more of these type of pieces from GW.

This is most creepy Tyranid part I've ever seen.  Guess because it resembles insects.  Kind of reminds me of a silverfish.
