Land Raider US part 5

Only one more session and this guy is finished.

JJ painting, this is a Land Raider US commission for Nate.

Thought the star would take much longer to do.  Was sure the project was going to come to a crawl.   Turned out to be surprisingly fast.  Also turned out much better than expected.  Its not finished.

    1. Thanks for the kind words, Greg. Nate said he wanted a star somewhere on the model. Showed me a model of another land raider he had commissioned with a star on it. My first idea was to paint a mural of a terminator catching a genestealer by the throat and shooting his assault cannon into it. That would've been on the right side. Was thinking because of the blue Nate was a fan of Ultramarines. Then he reminded me that he has his army painted up in USA colours so he can use them for any chapter. Makes sense. Abandoned the mural and thought more about the star.

  2. It's not finished? Really?
If I still played 40K you could sell that to me NOW for £100 and could probably squeeze an extra £20.

Just as well I don't play 40K. Don't think Nate would appreciate you selling me his Land Raider.

    1. That extremely kind of you, Tom. If some of the line highlighting wasn't so sloppy it could be finished. It needs to be "cleaned" up.
