Grey Knights Purifiers part 16 a.k.a. what not to do with handmade bases

I'm so done with these guys.  Only going to do one more thing with them before sticking the fork in them.  Considered highlighting the accenting on weapons.  F that!

When you're making handmade custom bases it is a great idea to listen to your initial thoughts regarding basing.  Specifically how you're going affix the model to the base.  At first I was going to pin my Purifiers to the base.  Then decided to just superglue them to the base.  This is the fifth Purifier to come off its base.  Basically it comes down to applying too much pressure to the model while painting.  That pressure slowly pries the model from its "sturdy" hold.  Every one of them that has been pried from its base this way has been pinned.  Should've stuck with my original idea.

This guy tried to run away and snitch about the abuse that was happening at home.  Some children are so ungrateful.

Pinned both feet this time.  In the past only did one.
