Grey Knights Purifiers part 15

The end is coming with these guys.  What I thought was a good idea clearly was not.

Decided to go with grey.  Right has 1:1 Army Painter Uniform Grey and Space Wolves Grey.


First set of five done.  Thought it would be a great idea to do the armour last because I was going to paint them a lot of different shades of grey.  When I abandoned white decided to do grey.  Now that I'm hitting specific parts of the model with grey it's turning out to be quite a pain.  Last time I do armour last.  This is also the first time I ever did armour last.

Seems be a less blurry pic.  Camera is too close.  Causing pics to be blurry.  Also camera isn't steady.

    finally someone with real "grey" knights :) I can imagine it's hard to paint the armour last ... with all those details on them

      That was the first thing that bothered me when I saw GW's Grey Knights. They were silver. Wouldn't mind it if they were Silver Knights but whatever. I can see why GW had them painted silver because painting them grey might have them look like Space Wolves. They could start with Adeptus Battlegrey for a base then work up to a middle grey highlight.
