Lysander Completed

Have to say Brandon's right.  The more you paint the faster you get.  Painted this guy in half the time it took me to paint Tallarn's Chaplin.  Look forward to the day when I can paint one of these guys at this level in one sitting.  I'll give it a year.

Good friend of mine wants Lysander painted in Black Templars colours.  Probably because the Imperial Fists pardoned the hostage Lysander for losing their precious artifacts.  If I was Lysander I would leave the Imperial Fists for their impure ethics.

6th ed 40k Lexicon v2.2

There's a great deal of information about 40k all over the web.  Many of it uses short hand to communicate.  I'm compiling a lexicon to help me decipher what it means.  Warseer uses a great system of links to know what it means.  I endeavour to copy their method in the future.  In the mean time I hope you learn as much as I do if not more.

Could've finished this guy in about three sessions if I really plugged at away at it.  Decent pace.  Probably would've taken longer had I used my previous techniques.

Work on this guy is going damned fast.  Which is great.  There is a lot of work on my plate to complete before moving to other projects.  Shawn handed me a whole new set of Eldar to paint.  That will help with bills and securing my Eldar wraith army.

Eldar Autarch on a Jetbike part 2

I'm actually enjoying painting this guy.  Not a fan of the Autarch in general.  Seems to me a pseudo-Space Marine Commander.  Don't think it should've been introduced into the system in 4th ed.  Thinking GW just wanted to tie the novels into the game as much as possible.  Referring to Path of Warrior Black Library novel.  I'd suggest skipping it.  Wasn't impressed.

Reaper Surf Aqua for parts of the jetbike, banner and flags also armour plates.  Apparently I forgot to paint the armour plates on the left arm.

Eldar Bane, err I mean Illic Nightspear Completed

Feels great knocking down the models I've had at my place since before summer.  Looks like quite soon my plate will be clean with me feverishly chasing spiders in my apartment to paint them, as I've ran out of models to paint.  Wish that was true.  There's a three foot stack of models for me to paint.  Have some other priorities that have to be finished before I start hacking away at that pile.
