Like the Boy Scouts or Marines it's best to be prepared when sh*t happens. In this case Ayce00's Ranger somehow found itself on the floor. Guess the Range had enough of his Long Rifle doing nothing and decided to take out his frustration on it and broke the barrel off.

Time for some battlefield triage. Ayce00 had all the tools to fix this immediate problem. |

Found it better to put the pin in the broken part than the body. It really doesn't matter. |

Tada! A magazine made by and for gay magicians. Guess the quote. |

Always nice to be able to save a model.

Thanks.
DeleteCompletely agree. Working on the text for the posts. Have other changes for the anniversary. Not yet figured out.
Both my Thunderfire Cannons have the same defect on both and it was pretty bad. Luckily it will hidden from view most of the time. I really don't like the stuff.
ReplyDeleteGlad yours had a happy ending.
What broke off on your Thunderfire Cannons? I have the metal one. Trying to figure out what would be the fragile part.
DeleteNothing broke but if you look at the cannon at where it connects to the base there is what looks like a flat piece with a large cable connecting to the base. This part on both cannons were warped and chipped. I will take a picture in a day or so before I assemble it since the painting is just about done. I'll post it.
DeletePlease do. Would like to see it. Been so long since I've painted mine not sure what piece is causing the issue.
