Ciaphas Cain Completed

What a new post?  I've spending the last several days relaxing and working on things.  Was my bday last Sat.



JJ painting, this is a Ciaphas Cain Imperial Guard commission.  Buddy of mine Lane wondered if I could do this some months ago.  He finally procured a commissar and had a chainsword bit.  He's not attached to the base because I have something special in mind.  Want to see if Lane likes it before committing to it.

    Good job!
    If you'd done that for me, I'd be very happy. Personally I'd have gone for a darker blue, but that is my taste and no way a reflection on your excellent work.

    Can't wait to see what you have in store as a finishing touch.

      Tamati, welcome to H2Lat40k. Thanks for the compliment. Have to agree with you regarding a darker blue. Wasn't til it was finished that I started comparing it to the cover art in my head. Blues should be closer to a midnight blue with appropriate highlights.

      I think you'll like the finishing touch. Unlike anything I've done before.
