Wraithguard/blades Completed

Merry cornucopia day, 40kers.  May you enjoy the company of your family, friends, urban tribe, what have you.  Also may you not descend like locust upon a mecca of capitalism thus avoiding the furthering decay of time with loved one's in lieu of supporting some nameless face's bottom line.

Wraithguard/blades part 6

Loving the time I've been able to put into Toni's army.  Had a great All Hallows Eve.  Spent some time online and then at the murder table.  Originally thought I would be able to paint all the plates and highlight them in one sitting.  Then it hit me.

Wraithguard/blades part 3

Last weekend was great for working on models.  Quite pleased with the amount done.  After doing the spiritstones I believe it will be all down hill.  Think more than twenty spiritstones will be painted on each Wraithguard.

Wraithguard/blades part 2 Crocodile Dundee Style

After cutting out almost all of the pieces for Wraithguard and Wraithblades it is time to magnetise them.

/Australian accent "That's not a lot of magnetisation"

Eldar Wraithguard round 2 completed

When Shawn handed these to me 29th Jan.  He asked if I could get them done by next months Tournament.  I said yeah that will be easy.  He then reminded me we have signed up for CON of the North's tournament Feb 17th.  Was a little panicked because each hour painting something else is one less hour painting my Grey Knights.  I refuse to play with an unpainted army.  Guess I'm a snob that way.

I appreciate how austere GW special order boxes are.

I've been "sneak" doing these guys.  Decided to put one hour a day into paint them while focusing the majourity of my time on my Grey Knights.  Instead of putting up little pics here and there I would make one post that goes from beginning to end.

Eldar Wraithguard

Shawn sent me an email asking if I could put his Craftworld symbol on the heads or loin clothes of his Wraithguard.  Told him because they were already matted it might be difficult but can try.

After painting I matted just the front of them again.

He wanted me to give them some variety.  Mixed up the orientation of his Craftworlds symbol.  Turned out pretty good.
