Vespid part 2

Feels damn good to be at the table regularly again.  Worked on the VSG a littl more last night.  These pics are from a couple of days ago.



JJ painting, this is a gift card painting of Tau Vespid commission for Patrick.

Used Ice Blue to line-highlight the chitinous armour.  Thinking about using a light grey.  What do you think?


Thinking 1:1 Ice Blue and Fenris Grey would make the line-highlight pop more.  Thoughts?

    I haven't seen these models in forever. Looking good already!

    If its an army for tabletop play, always go with an exaggerated highlight I find. It makes for a more "popping" army at a distance.

      Thanks. Was surprised how the two shades of airbrushing did most of the work for me.

      Yeah for table top play. Think I will exaggerate the highlighting to make them pop more.
