Picked up a local crafts store. This one from Michaels for about 2$.

A model and first grade edible glue.
**
Put a drop of glue on the base.
**
Don't throw away brushes that have given up on you. This guy is my basing brush.

Spread the glue around. Be careful of the feet. Don't want glue over the feet.
**
Time give the base a bath. Pull out and turn sideways or upside down to shake off loose material.
**
Voila.
