Anyone who's used Photoshop have any pointers for a beginner?
You need Creative Suite 2 to use Photoshop correct? Can't download just Photoshop and expect it to work right?

I didn't know they were giving it away. That's awesome! I'm not sure if it's any different with this download, but the creative suite is just a collection of different stand alone programs. It should work fine by itself.

Yeah, I know it's not the most mind blowing advice ever, but with photoshop, the best way to learn it is to just play around with it. If you would like, here's a really nice tutorial that shows how to make a planet. http://www.photoshoplady.com/tutorial/how-to-simply-make-a-realistic-planet/1324
