Ebay Deathwing Land Raider part 6

Was able to put in just under 2hrs of work last night.  Turned out better than I thought.

Base coated with watered down Boltgun Metal.

So far coming along swimmingly.  I see a lot of progress happening this weekend.  No plans Sat or Sun other than reserving my CONvergence 13 hotel room.

Leviathan Purple wash.

Chainmail on key parts.

Drybrushed Boltgun Metal on skull.  Drybrushed watered down Boltgun Metal in recessed parts.

Buttons and stuff.  From top to bottom, left to right.  Enchanted Blue, Scorpion Green, Flash Gitz Yellow, Goblin Green, Snot Green, Regal Blue and Blood Red.

Affixed left hull.  Opened/closed assault ramp a couple of times so they would find their place with the pressure against them.  Make sure it works for the winner of the Land Raider.  Don't want them to buy a bum Land Raider because assault ramp won't open.

Looking sharp so far.

Doors open and don't fall into the model.  Problem with my Land Raiders.

 

Tracks were a bit funny.  I blame the primer not allowing the glue to make clean contact with plastic on hull.

Wrote a couple of bands while assembly/painting.

Nice.  Things look good on this side.  Rear side not as pretty.  Wish I would've listened to myself when I was gluing on left chassis.

Looking great.
